COVID Procedures

Please read the following regarding our office's response to the coronavirus:

The health and safety of our clients is and has always been our top priority.  With recent news about coronavirus (COVID-19), we know you may have questions about what we are doing here to respond.  After all, especially during times of distress, being able to safely see your therapist is essential to your well-being.  Here are the precautions we are taking:

*All of the surface areas in your therapist’s office as well as in public use areas are being wiped down with disinfectant periodically throughout the day.

*All therapy equipment such as play therapy toys, manuals, or anything else used by the therapist, are being cleaned and disinfected before and after each use. 

*If you are feeling even slightly ill or think there is a chance you’ve been in contact with someone who may have contracted COVID-19, please do stay at home and either reschedule your appointment or opt for a remote/video session instead.  We as your therapist, will do the same. 

*If you are ill or do not feel comfortable coming in to your session, we can do a video session online using our convenient and HPPA compliant Lifesize platform.  Just let your therapist know ahead of time and we can set this up. 

*If you do not feel comfortable waiting in the waiting room, let the therapist know and you can sit in your car or outside.  Your therapist will call you when you they are ready for you. 

Rest assured, we are closely monitoring the situation and are following CDC’s (Center for Disease Control) recommendations and updates. If you would like to get the most up to date information, the CDC’s website is www.cdc.gov. and the World Health Organization’s website is www.who.int
